We have a great opportunity here at Tesco for a Demand Planner to join a successful team!
You'll be at the forefront of the business, delivering products for customers and colleagues every day.
You will be responsible for ensuring product availability in store, managing stock levels, and maintaining stock quality across the Home division by planning and executing the flow of stock from suppliers to stores. This role includes exciting opportunities to work with suppliers worldwide and collaborate with colleagues across the business.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary

You will be responsible for
* Producing and analyzing stock and availability reports, identifying risks and opportunities
* Providing short, medium, and long-term forecasts and sharing with relevant stakeholders
* Reviewing daily supplier Failed To Arrive reports and short deliveries
* Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time
* Creating intake and allocation plans for promotions, events, range changes, and continuity products to optimize availability and manage clearance stock through Tesco systems
* Working with Category & Supply Chain teams to understand and deliver the trade plan, including in-season activities
* Understanding the relationship between sales, stock, and margin, and monitoring current performance
* Developing knowledge of the WSSI process and providing relevant information as needed
* Engaging with internal stakeholders to identify potential launch and continuity issues, and proposing solutions, including maintaining the 'Mind the Gaps' commentary
* Contributing to regular reviews, capturing learnings and opportunities for continuous improvement
* Producing forecast volumes for demand to provide visibility to Distribution via the Activity Plan
* Adhering to our Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
* Previous experience in Supply Chain or Merchandising roles
* Experience working with suppliers
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines while managing changing plans
* Experience in forecasting and stock management
* Proficiency in data analysis and a customer-focused approach
* Ability to adapt to change and prioritize workload effectively
