We are looking for an experienced and ambitious business development professional to assist in the acquisition of business clients in London. This role is based in London and will require regular travel around the city on a weekly basis and occasional regional travel ( YOUR ROLE: Build awareness of Blacklane in London through constant presence and networking. Actively reaching out to prospective clients, leading customer acquisition in Corporate, Legal, Insurance and / or similar sectors and fields. Drive the revenue and profitability of Blacklane for Business, through the acquisition of new business partners within London. Establish relationships with high-value potential customers and partners. Collaborate closely with the sales operations department to assess results and improve performance. Represent Blacklane at industry events and conferences. Push innovative thinking and set challenging goals and objectives. Build relationships with other departments to steer local projects and insights ABOUT YOU: You are an experienced sales professional with an upbeat outlook and exceptional sales abilities. A self starter you have demonstrated successes in B2B sales, ground transportation, corporate/leisure travel or another relevant industry. You’re competitive and work at a fast pace. You also have a strong moral compass and do not cut corners. A track record of successfully pitching for new business and increasing revenue through the generation of leads. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and analytical skills. You are a skilled negotiator who creates new ideas for win-win deals. Fluent in English.
