Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year Requirements: Proficiency in computer hardware fault-finding down to component level, such as replacing hard drives and DIMMs Experience troubleshooting within a Windows environment Basic understanding of networking principles, including routing, switching, and TCP/IP Strong communication skills across all mediums Excellent time management, organisational abilities, and attention to detail Experience with electronic, electrical, and mechanical repair, including the use of testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Ability to perform precise repairs with a high degree of manual dexterity Ability to manage tasks independently Valid full UK driving licence Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain digital X-ray systems, with a focus on software, hardware, and networking Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and configuration of specialised X-ray acquisition software Perform installations, commissioning, and annual service visits for new and existing X-ray equipment at customer sites Troubleshoot customer issues onsite and remotely via phone support or remote desktop access Coordinate with OEMs and third-party suppliers to source spare parts, technical manuals, and support Complete service reports and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner Manage workload effectively, scheduling and planning jobs to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adhere to company guidelines and procedures Technologies: Hardware Support TCP/IP Windows More: We are Burtons Medical Equipment, a leading provider of medical equipment within the animal healthcare and human healthcare dental sectors.
