Job Title: Interim Accountant
Contract: 3-month contract, Temp to Perm Potential
Location: Glasgow
Start: Immediate
Salary: Day Rate – £235 – 260 p/d (inside IR35)
Rutherford Cross is pleased to be working with a Glasgow‑based SME to appoint an Interim Accountant on an initial 3‑month contract. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and play a key role in supporting the finance function during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of management accounts, budgeting and audit support
* Maintain the nominal ledger, including transaction postings, reconciliations, VAT, payroll support and credit control
* Hands on role requiring strong bookkeeping skills and attention to detail
* Work autonomously while supporting wider finance objectives
