The school is very popular within Darlington and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out Music lessons for key stages 3 and 4.
The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for a Music Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.

Person Specification
* must be 21 and over
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
* PGCE in Music or related subject from a recognized provider
* You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
* Have experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school setting.
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 ARt lessons across ability ranges.
* Be passionate about instilling a love of Music
* Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
