The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and highly reputable metal stockholding business, supplying materials into key sectors including engineering, manufacturing, construction, and more.
You’ll be joining a business known for its quality, service, and strong customer relationships, with a clear focus on growth and developing its people.
The Role
This is an internal Business Development role, focused on generating new business while managing and developing existing accounts.
You will
* Proactively win new business through outbound calls and relationship building
* Manage your own pipeline and drive sales opportunities through to close
* Build strong relationships with customers across engineering and manufacturing sectors
* Produce quotes, follow up, and negotiate to secure orders
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
What We’re Looking For
* Confident making outbound calls and building relationships over the phone
* A strong commercial mindset with a real drive to win and earn
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
* Experience within metal stockholding is highly desirable
Package
* Basic salary negotiable depending on experience + Yearly bonus structure
* Monday – Friday 08:30am – 5:00pm / Early finish every other Thursday
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
