About the Role As SENCo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all students with special educational needs receive the tailored support and guidance they require to reach their full potential. You will be responsible for: Leading and developing the school's SEN provision: Collaborating with teachers, leadership teams, and external agencies to create and implement effective strategies for identifying, assessing, and supporting students with SEN. Building strong working relationships: Fostering positive relationships with students, parents/carers, teachers, and other professionals involved in supporting SEN students. Providing expert advice and guidance: Offering specialist knowledge and expertise to ensure all staff understand and implement best practices in SEN support. Monitoring and evaluating SEN provision: Regularly reviewing and analysing data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and continually improve SEN practices. Leading and managing the SEN team: Providing effective leadership and support to SEN teaching assistants and other staff involved in SEN provision. Qualifications and Experience A relevant postgraduate qualification in SEN, such as an MSc or PGCE Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a SENCo or in a similar leadership role Proven track record of successfully implementing effective SEN strategies Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and management skills Passionate about supporting students with SEN and promoting their inclusion Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience Collaborative and supportive working environment Opportunities for professional development and career growth The satisfaction of making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN Why Choose Us?
