About the Role
The school is seeking enthusiastic and confident EYFS Teaching Assistants to join their team on as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is looking to take on more responsibility, cover lessons across the school, and make a positive difference to pupils’ learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across all year groups, supporting teaching and learning in class, leading small group interventions, and providing whole-class cover when required.
Key Responsibilities
* • Deliver pre-planned lessons confidently in the absence of the class teacher.
* • Support pupils’ learning through small-group work and 1:1 interventions.
* • Assist with planning and preparation of engaging learning activities.
* • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive choices.
* • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to meet the needs of all learners.
* • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 2 or 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant certification (essential).
o • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
o • Flexibility to work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
o • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils of all abilities.
o • A proactive, professional, and resilient approach.
o • A genuine passion for working in primary education.
