As Warehouse Manager, you will lead all warehousing operations, including goods receiving, production line fulfilment, and distribution to major OEM customers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Logistics, you will manage a team of 35 associates with 2 direct reports, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-moving production environment. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, implementing modern warehousing practices, and maintaining industry-leading health and safety standards.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role requiring both operational resilience and a clear vision for transformation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain high standards of Health & Safety, promoting a strong safety culture
Develop, coach, and motivate a flexible, high-performing warehouse team
Take full accountability for departmental performance, including safety and operational KPIs
Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs to senior leadership
Implement processes and procedures to optimise operational efficiency
Manage and control departmental budgets
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the businessWhat We’re Looking For
3–5 years’ warehouse management experience within automotive or fast-paced manufacturing
Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental standards, including risk assessments
Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience leading warehouse transformation or improvement projects
Strong organisational, communication, and motivational skills
IT proficiency including MS Office and ERP/MRP/WMS systems
Resilient, proactive, and able to perform under pressureDesirable Experience
Import/export knowledge
Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Exposure to warehouse automation and efficiency software
Experience with automated stock control systems
HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineAdditional Information
