Principal engineer - support engineering (maintenance design)

Our client are seeking contractors for a Principal Engineer – Support Engineering (Maintenance Design), ideally with background in Cat A/BB - Nuclear Supervisor/watchkeeper.

Key Tasks:

1. Support stakeholder engagement and attend collaboration working groups in support of company scope of work for maintenance design.
2. Provide technical guidance and advice for the full range of the ILS discipline activities.
3. Understand and be able to articulate the impact of Engineering Change on ILS deliverables.
4. Provide appropriate ex-operator knowledge and input for maintenance derivation outputs.
5. Conduct Methodology Audits of RCM analyses prior to formal delivery to MoD.
6. Provide appropriate RCM knowledge and input for Engineering Design Reviews.
7. Conduct periodic quality assurance checks of Maintenance Task Instructions (MTI) and initiate appropriate rectification activity/actions.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to the RCM engineering team.
9. Facilitate Technical Reviews of each MTA analysis with system SMEs.
10. Conduct Internal Audits of all analyses prior to formal delivery to MoD.
11. Recommend amendments to maintenance as a result of design change and maintainer feedback.
12. Provide advice in the production of Maintenance Task Instructions (MTIs).
13. Provide operator SQEP advice to other Support Engineering disciplines and their activities as required.
