Job Title: Process Technician –Electrical
Location: West Sussex Region- travel across multiple sites required
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week
Salary: £36,954.02 – £44,344.09 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Plus:Potential of standby allowanceand overtime opportunities can boost your earnings by up to£10,000 per yearon top of your base salary!(tobe discussed at interview stage)
About the Role:
We’relooking for a skilled Process Technician (Electrical) to join our Wastewater Treatment Team.
In this vital role,you’llbe at the frontline ofmaintainingand repairing wastewater treatment works, sludge treatment centres, and pumping stations. Your work ensures compliance with environmental standards, protects our communities, and keeps essential services running smoothly.
You’lluse yourelectricalexpertiseto prevent pollutions,maintainoperational efficiency, and introduce innovative solutions for continuous improvementon our WasteWater sites. Every day brings new challenges,and your proactive approach will make a real difference to our customers and the environment.
WhatWe’reLooking For:
Youdon’tneed experience in the water industry—we welcome fresh perspectives!
However, youmusthave:
✔Level 3 NVQ qualification(with supporting certificates)
We’realso looking for someone who is:
1. Skilled in mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of pumping station operations and wastewater treatment processes
2. A natural problem-solver who canidentifyissues and implement solutions
3. A clear communicator, confident in liaising with internal teams and external contractors
4. Resilient and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
5. Be able to workindependentlyand part of a team
6. Must be inpossessionof a clean, UK Driving Licence
