Job Description
Zoo Grips is seeking an Interior Experience Integration and Test Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis, inside IR35, based in Gaydon. The contract is initially until 31st March 2026, with potential for extension. The role offers an umbrella pay rate of £27.03 per hour.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Create manual and automated feature and system-level test cases for Interior Experience features based on documentation.
2. Ensure test techniques are appropriate, and test cases are robust and meet quality standards.
3. Execute feature-level test cases on vehicles and system-level test cases on Hardware in the Loop or Vehicle in the Loop rigs.
4. Produce test execution reports.
5. Support defect management and root cause analysis.
6. Collaborate with system engineers and leads to ensure requirements are testable and traceable.
Skills Required
1. Experience in Automotive System Integration & Testing.
2. Knowledge of Systems Engineering 'V-Model', requirements-based testing, verification, and validation.
3. Understanding of Systems Engineering tools, processes, and practices.
4. Experience building simulation environments in the automotive industry (e.g., dSPACE, Simulink).
5. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
