Residential Property / Conveyancing Lawyer (2–3 Years’ Experience)
Location: Skipton | Hybrid & Flexible Working
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
A well-established and highly regarded Yorkshire law firm is seeking a Residential Property / Conveyancing Lawyer to join its growing team in Skipton.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
* Local new build transactions (typically smaller-scale developments)
* Rural property matters
* A broad range of general residential conveyancing transactions
The firm handles high-quality conveyancing work, primarily for local clients. There are no referral arrangements and no heavy fee targets, allowing lawyers to focus on delivering strong client service and thorough, well-managed transactions.
A modern case management system is in place, and there is strong administrative and peer support across the conveyancing team.
This role would suit a lawyer with around 2–3 years’ residential property or conveyancing experience who is confident managing their own caseload. Longer-term, there may be opportunities to broaden into commercial property work for those interested in developing beyond residential conveyancing.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
Flexibility is a genuine priority for the firm:
* Core office hours 9:00am–5:15pm
* Flexible start times (from 8:30am)
* Hybrid working typically 2 days in the office and 3 days from home
* Alternative working patterns considered from the outset (e.g. compressed hours over 3.5–4 days)
* 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
* Option to purchase additional holiday

* Around 2–3 years’ experience in residential property or conveyancing
