Quest Search and Selection is looking for a Technical & Compliance Manager to oversee product quality, supplier compliance, and risk mitigation for hardline products. Key Responsibilities of this Technical & Compliance Manager position: Lead product quality management, ensuring UK regulatory compliance for all hardline products. Ensure processes stay up-to-date with UK laws. Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SEDEX compliance and timely resolution of audit issues. Source high-quality vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage rebates. Work with testing labs, audit houses, third-party partners, and suppliers. Oversee QA/QC policies, product quality issues, recalls, and returns. Maintain product compliance, manage test certificates, and ensure safety data sheets. Lead ethical and environmental audits, maintaining due diligence. Key requirements of this Technical & Compliance Manager position: 4-5 years’ experience in quality/compliance roles. Leadership experience managing a small team (2 reportees). Experience with external agencies, vendors, and contract management. Strong communication skills and knowledge of UK/EU testing requirements. Familiar with SEDEX systems and third-party audits. Detail-oriented and process-driven.
