Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering – collaborate with our leaders to understand needs and develop HR strategies that align with organisational objectives.
Coaching and Mentoring - partner with our leaders on HR related matters, including performance management and employee relations.
Employee Relations – provide advice and support to employees on various issues, including grievances, performance and career development.
Change Management – help navigate organisational change, ensuring HR Policies and processes are aligned to new initiatives.
Compliance – ensure the organisation’s HR practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
HR Policy and Process Development – contribute to development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Data Analysis – utilise data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving employee relations and performance.
Health and Safety – play a key role in promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
What You Bring:
Interpersonal & Communication Skills – effective communication with various stakeholders, influence and build trusted relationships and provide advice and solutions.
Experience - 3 – 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, ideally within a New Zealand ‘blue collar’ setting.
Qualifications - An NZ tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Business, or related discipline would be preferred, but not essential.
Business Acumen – strong understanding of business operations, including how other departments and functions connect is crucial.
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills – able to analyse situations, identify issues and develop solutions.
