Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our financial services client for an Assistant Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll have the opportunity to grow in your role, while playing an important part in our client's continued success. This is a hybrid role. What you'll do: Responsible for planning and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of funds, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met and client accounting requirements are delivered in accordance with Ocorian's contractual obligations. Develop and implement processes to guarantee the timely delivery of financial reports and accounts for all entities in the allocated portfolio, meeting client accounting needs. Ensure the accounts production process adheres to current accounting standards and best practice principles, staying updated as standards and practices evolve. Set up reporting procedures for new funds and other entities, based on fund documentation and client-specific reporting needs. Provide guidance and support to the administration team to ensure that transaction bookkeeping is completed accurately and promptly. Work closely with clients and professional advisors to establish and agree on timetables for account production. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
