Summary
The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Team.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem‑solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and key external suppliers.
Location
Heston, UK. The selected candidate will perform work onsite at this location.
Key Position Duties
* Cross‑functional liaison between multiple BGS programs and BGS global warehousing and logistics.
* Contributor in providing direction and execution of business operations for aftermarket warehousing.
* Facilitate and manage all communication, planning and projects for international third‑party logistics warehouses.
* Respond to customer supply chain inquiries and coordinate delivery problem resolution.
* Collect and process supplier and customer data regarding products or services to include full warehouse capabilities and capacity.
* Manage warehouse operations by reviewing inventory management, receiving, outbound shipping, etc., ensuring the warehouse meets all KPI targets.
* Lead analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and assess configuration change impact on the supply support system.
* Identify supply chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience using SAP software.
* 4+ years in Supply Chain Logistics.
* Experience in a high‑volume transaction environment.
* Proficient in all Microsoft Software Applications.
* Data analytics skills.
* Experience leading a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in high‑pressure, dynamic situations.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
* Equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 4 years of related work experience).
* Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies, procedures, and products.
* Ability to make customers and their needs a primary focus of one's work.
* Ability to work as a member of a team as well as be a leader.
Work Authorization
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
