About the Role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects and abilities, helping to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one and small group academic support to students.
* Assisting teachers during lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Supporting students with additional learning needs to access lesson content.
* Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources.
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
* Contributing to a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
This role offers a broad and valuable insight into secondary education, making it an excellent stepping stone towards teacher training or other education-related careers.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for graduates who:
* Hold, or are on track to achieve, a 2:1 degree or above in any subject.
* Have a genuine interest in working within the education sector.
* Are confident, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with students.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are proactive, professional, and eager to learn.
* Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
