Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying tiles for various surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
* Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas accurately.
* Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
* Lay tiles in accordance with design specifications and patterns.
* Ensure proper alignment and spacing of tiles during installation.
* Apply grout and sealant to finished tile work for durability and aesthetics.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the job site.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Tile Setter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
* Familiarity with various materials used in tile setting, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and natural stone. installation, heavy equipment operation, and restoration is highly desirable.
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
