Job Description:
Join us as a Relationship Director in Commercial Mid-Market
* This role involves managing and developing a portfolio of commercial customers, providing them with suitable products and services for their financial needs.
* You will drive sales activity to maximize new business and manage customer relationships to improve the customer experience.
* We value your long-term thinking and commercial acumen to support business growth and build lasting relationships.
* Your work will be split between client meetings at their premises, collaborating with colleagues in the office (minimum two days a week), and remote work.
What you'll do
We seek someone with an entrepreneurial attitude, strong customer advocacy, and the ability to create value from customer relationships. You will deliver excellent customer service, providing the right financial solutions to increase loyalty and satisfaction.
You’ll also be:
* Maintaining and developing relationships with key business and functional partners
* Using tools effectively for contact and strategy planning, identifying customer needs, and recording interactions
* Presenting pitches and papers to customers
* Analyzing financial information to prepare structured credit applications
* Delivering targeted new lending while adhering to risk, cost, and capital controls
Skills required:
* A diploma in lending skills (mandatory, with the exam available up to six months after starting)
* Previous experience in commercial banking
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills
* Proven risk assessment experience with monitoring and control skills
* Outstanding customer relationship skills
* Deep knowledge of credit processes and policy
* Understanding of macroeconomic and financial outlooks, and commercial sector activity
* Experience analyzing complex financial data and structuring solutions
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
