KS2 Teacher : Shape Futures in Sheffield

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our thriving primary school in Sheffield from September 2025. This full:time role offers an exciting opportunity to guide pupils through crucial stages of their academic and personal development, contributing significantly to a supportive and forward:thinking school community.

About the Opportunity: Guiding Growth in KS2

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be pivotal in creating an enriching and effective learning environment for children in Years 3:6. This multifaceted role encompasses:

* Exceptional Teaching and Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering engaging, well:structured lessons that encompass the full KS2 curriculum, utilising strong subject knowledge (including English and Maths) to ensure excellent progression for all pupils. Youll also make effective use of ICT to enhance learning.
* Differentiated Learning: Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs or more able pupils, ensuring tasks are matched to ability for optimal progress.
* Dynamic Classroom Management: Creating a positive, well:ordered, and secure environment where students feel respected, motivated, and are encouraged to uphold high standards of behaviour. Youll implement consistent strategies for discipline and constructive feedback.
* Assessment and Tracking Progress: Meticulously assessing student learning, maintaining all required records, and working closely with school leaders to track individual progress and implement targeted interventions where needed.
* Collaboration and Communication: Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, actively involving them in the learning process. You will participate actively in planning meetings, staff meetings, and contribute to the wider school ethos and policies.
* Professional Development: Engaging in continuous in:service training and contributing to the development of the school and its staff, including taking a lead role in classroom and designated whole:school displays.

Essential Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness for one.

* Teamwork and Collaboration: A strong ability to work well with others, contributing positively to the schools ethos and collaborating effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
* Empathy and Patience: A sensitive and understanding approach to students emotional and social needs, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
* Organisational Excellence: Strong organisational skills for managing workload, planning effectively, and meeting all deadlines efficiently.
* Technological Proficiency: Confidence in using computers and main software packages to enhance learning and tea
