Mytos is a biopharma biotech company that develops machines to fully automate human cell production, an industry that has been highly manual. We are backed by Y Combinator and have raised $19m to expand our capabilities. Our work focuses on using cells to discover and develop new drugs and is already being applied to cure diseases such as Parkinson’s and age‑related blindness. Our team includes ex‑Dyson engineers and Nature‑published scientists and is building a world‑class group that works hand‑in‑hand across disciplines. We operate out of the Imperial College Innovation hub in White City, London.
Who are you?
You are an ambitious person with a strong passion for electronics and science. You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering (or a similar field) and you are ready to embark on your career together with us.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be part of the development team designing and testing the electronics hardware found in our products. You will work with highly skilled engineers across several disciplines from start to finish, tackling robotics and control challenges, working with cutting‑edge sensors and actuators, and helping us unlock features that future‑proof our devices.
Qualifications
* You are passionate about electronics
* You are self‑driven and willing to learn new skills
* You have experience driving schematic capture and PCB design using Altium or similar software
* You understand the challenges of mixed‑signal designs
* You have some programming experience: C/C++ and Python
Nice to have
* Demonstrated experience working with firmware for embedded systems, either in a professional or personal project capacity.
* Experience simulating designs using LTSpice or similar software.
