Senior Control & Instrument Engineer The Senior Control & Instrument Engineer will have the capability to design I&C systems and provide guidance on the design of on safety systems design and compliance to applicable nuclear governing standards to projects. They will research and keep up to date on the latest trends in Instrumentation and Control (I&C) architectures, technology within the architectures, the impact of new or updated applicable nuclear standards and impact due to changes in nuclear regulation approach. Location : Wimborne, UK Your Challenge: • Design of I&C systems • Early engagement with customers supporting the sales function. • Working with sales function to produce white papers and other material on our I&C capabilities and solutions. • Research into the latest trends on I&C system architectures and the technology that are used within these architectures. • Assess impact of changes in applicable safety and nuclear standards and approval approaches by nuclear regulators. • Contribute and support the company’s strategic plan in the development of our I&C capabilities and solutions • Supporting the safety/systems engineering aspects of projects, particularly in I&C architectures and the impact of standards applicable to the project regulatory domain. What You Bring: • HND/Degree (or equivalent) qualified engineer, preferably in an engineering discipline. • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant institution would be an advantage. • Experience of I&C safety/systems engineering within a regulated industry.
