We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for a qualified SEN Teacher in Stoke-On-Trent. Then looking for a specialist in either English or Maths.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
* Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
* Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone who is:
* Passionate about working with students with SEND.
* Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
* Qualified – QTS/QTLS is essential.
* Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
