This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the depth of teaching a vocational subject but also appreciates the variety of supporting the wider school curriculum. You will lead the Health and Social Care lessons while providing expert cover across other subjects when needed.
What You Will Be Doing

Health and Social Care Delivery: Teaching units such as Human Lifespan Development, Health and Social Care Services, and Care Values to KS4 and KS5 students.

Vocational Guidance: Supporting students with coursework, practical assessments, and exam preparation.
*
Versatile Cover: Stepping into other subject areas across the school, maintaining a high standard of classroom management and student engagement.
*
Team Collaboration: Working within the Social Sciences/Vocational department to ensure students meet their target grades.
Essential Requirements
*
DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory for this ASAP start.
*
Experience: Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care (BTEC, OCR, or GCSE).
*
Adaptability: The ability to move seamlessly between your specialist subject and general secondary cover.
*
