We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, to be based at our Greene King site in Tilbury. This role is very demanding and will include working within the site, managing warehouse colleagues that are loading vehicles ready for outbound deliveries the next day, timing is crucial to this role and the expectation is all vehicles will be loaded on time in readiness for delivery of goods to customers sites
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday covering the hours of 22:00 – 06:00. We do ask for some flexibility to get the beer delivered at busy times and bank holiday working is part of the shift pattern

We’re looking to offer a salary of £32,700.00 per annum (Inclusive of night shift allowance) and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Oversee a team of operatives during night shifts in a drinks distribution warehouse
* Plan and close shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
* Delegate picking tasks to MHE operatives and loading tasks to vehicle loaders
* Ensure compliance with daily Health & Safety (H&S) protocols, including building, vehicle, and goods checks
* Utilise computer skills to complete tasks on Excel and online platforms
* Ensure timely completion of pick and load tasks, strategically placing staff based on volume and manpower
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced warehouse operation
* Valid FLT license with relevant experience
* Experience of working to agreed targets and well-versed in warehouse management systems
* Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
* Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel and online platforms
