My Hertfordshire-based client is a privately owned SME with over twenty years of experience in providing commercial cleaning and soft FM services. They operate across various sites, including offices, residential, commercial communal areas, clinical spaces, retail, theatres, museums, and galleries.
I am recruiting a full-time Mobile Support Supervisor/Manager (40 hours, flexible based on site requirements). The role combines operational management and hands-on mobile support, with a weekly division of three days managing sites with support from the Head of Operations, and two days providing deep cleaning support. The sites are located in the Midlands/East Anglia region, with potential overnight stays for specialist tasks.
The ideal candidate will have extensive deep cleaning experience (carpets, hard floors, windows, cleaning machines) and some supervisory or management experience within the cleaning industry. Residency within the operating area, adaptability, and flexibility in working hours are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within a smaller company, with potential for future managerial advancement.
Supervisor/Manager duties
* Provide operational management support across client sites.
* Complete site audits via the Cleanlink system, resolving issues promptly.
* Manage staff timesheets and holidays using the Time Management System.
* Conduct out-of-hours site spot-checks.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and promote safe working practices.
* Recruit, train, and support cleaning staff.
* Implement discipline procedures as needed.
* Organize, schedule, delegate tasks, and manage mobile and site-based staff.
* Respond to client complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
* Manage stock, equipment, and cleaning materials through the company app.
* Set up, induct, and train new staff and mobilize new sites.
Mobile Support Cleaner duties
* Provide operational support across sites.
* Cover staff holidays and sick leave as directed.
* Perform deep cleaning tasks (carpets, floors, ovens, windows, jet washing).
* Record tasks using the Cleanlink system.
* Report equipment issues, damage, vandalism, or hazards.
* Maintain company vehicle condition and report damages.
* Follow health and safety procedures and promote safe practices.
* Coordinate with Mobile Area Managers and the Head of Operations to meet KPIs.

Salary: £31,595.20 per annum (£15.19/hour), with potential overtime and annual performance bonus. Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and iPad provided.
