Job Title: Flexo Printer – Days
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Reports To: Shift Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Earlies (6:00 - 13:45) Lates (13:30 - 21:15)
What you’ll be doing
* Operate and maintain flexographic printing machines to produce printed materials as per job specifications.
* Set up, monitor, and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal print quality and machine performance.
* Operate and assist with finishing equipment including die cutters, slitters, and rewinders.
* Collaborate cross-functionally, strengthening internal workflows and supporting initiatives like SMED and yield improvement.
* Ensure consistency across print runs, including registration, color match, and repeat length, adhering to precise tolerances.
* Communicate effectively with the wider production team, supervisors, and maintenance staff to resolve issues and improve performance.
* Comply with all health & safety procedures, company policies, and production protocols.
What You Bring
Must-Haves
* Proven experience operating flexographic printing presses, in a packaging, labels, or similar environment.
* Experience with hot and cold foil techniques and emboss.
* Ability to work independently and confidently on press.
* Confidence using IT systems and in-house software tools.
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Bonus Points For
* Experience working in ISO-certified or GMP-regulated environments.
* Familiarity in rotary and flatbed flexo and screen printing.
* Experience of problem solving in printing for 3 years.
