Java Developer with PEGA – Contract (B2B / Sub‑Con)
Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Java Developer with strong PEGA BPM expertise to join a dynamic team delivering enterprise‑grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and PEGA BPM
* Configure PEGA rules, components, and workflows to meet business needs
* Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services across Java and PEGA systems
* Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks
* Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Must‑Have Skills
* Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
* Hands‑on experience with PEGA BPM
* PEGA certifications such as CSA or CSSA
* Expertise in REST API development, JSON/XML, and integration patterns
* Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and secure coding practices
* Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
* UI development in PEGA or frameworks like Angular/React
* Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines)
* Exposure to Agile environments and financial domain projects
* PEGA CSA / CSSA / LSA
