PMO Analyst / Transformation Governance Analyst - Insurance

About the Role
Albany Beck is seeking an experienced PMO Analyst / Transformation Governance Analyst to support a major transformation portfolio within a leading London Market insurance organisation.
This role sits within the Transformation Office and will play a key part in ensuring effective governance, reporting, planning, and financial oversight across a complex portfolio of strategic change initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Programme Managers, Portfolio Leads, Finance teams, and senior stakeholders to drive transparency, control, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain portfolio-level reporting, including status updates, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Support the preparation and management of governance forums, including agenda creation, meeting packs, minutes, and action tracking.
* Maintain governance documentation, artefacts, and central repositories to ensure accurate and auditable records.
* Contribute to integrated portfolio planning, roadmap management, and delivery tracking.
* Provide financial administration support, including budget monitoring, cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice management.
* Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics and key delivery indicators.
* Collaborate with Programme Managers, Portfolio Leads, Finance teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure effective governance and reporting standards.
* Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven PMO Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, or Governance Analyst experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
* Strong experience supporting programme and portfolio governance frameworks.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reporting and governance artefacts with exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience supporting financial tracking, budgeting, cost management, and supplier engagement.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams.
* Good understanding of the end-to-end transformation delivery lifecycle.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
* Experience within Insurance, Specialty Insurance, or the London Market is highly desirable.
