Queenswood School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team! As a HLTA, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the school's policies and procedures.
About the School:
The School is set across two sites in a beautiful rural location in Herefordshire. We are an Independent Specialist day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 11 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum.

What you'll be doing:
9. Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher
10. Ensuring that students complete the work set by their teacher
11. Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
12. Providing support and assistance to students as needed
13. Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
About you:
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
16. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
17. A commitment to the educational development of students
Please note: you must have a full UK Driving Licence as you may be required to go off site.
