The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent knowledge of road safety regulations, and the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate HGVs to transport goods to and from designated locations
• Plan routes and maintain delivery schedules
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure cargo is secure and properly loaded/unloaded
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
• Keep accurate delivery and vehicle logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Requirements:
• Valid HGV license
• Proven experience as an HGV driver
• Excellent knowledge of Road Traffic Act and transport legislation
• Clean drivingCore skills required
