Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events in Hulls many and diverse Parks and open spaces, do you have the skills to engage with local Elected members, event organisers and communities. Can you see the future for parks in the city and find innovative and creative ways to bring in new and exciting events and activities to the area leading to increased opportunities and revenue?
We're looking for a dynamic and organised and innovative Events Officer who has worked in parks and open spaces to join our team.
About the Role
As an Events Officer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, delivering, monitoring and attracting a diverse range of events in parks and open spaces across the city of Hull. From community festivals to large scale events, you'll ensure every detail is managed to the highest standards, safely and with understanding for those living in the vicinity of the parks..
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of events from concept to completion.
Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
Manage event logistics, budgets, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with health and safety and licensing regulations.
Monitor and evaluate event success and provide post-event reports.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in event planning and delivery in parks and open spaces.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of health and safety and event licensing requirements.
A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach.
Ability to work in partnership.
