The primary aim is the welfare of the patients, either directly or indirectly. You will assist patients and visitors in navigating the external areas of the hospital, collecting and delivering them to one of the eight bus stops around the site.
You will be a hardworking, reliable, and organised team player with good communication skills and experience working with customers.
Responsibilities include providing a high standard of customer care, behaving in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner when dealing with customers and colleagues, and recognising and assisting with the additional needs of vulnerable, elderly, infirm, or disabled passengers to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
You should have the ability to keep calm under pressure, comply with all traffic laws and Trust policies and procedures, and drive a vehicle to a competent and safe standard.
