The role: The Junior Management Accountant will be joining the Finance team, and report directly to the Financial Controller. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a positive and driven candidate to join us on the next part of our journey. Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the accurate production of financial information throughout the business that will be used by the team to make informed decisions. The requirements: This is a fantastic opportunity which will suit an ambitious individual who is keen to learn and challenge best practice with new ways of thinking. You will be extremely organised, be deadline focused and have a keen eye for detail. Essential: AAT Level 3 (passed), Level 4 (studying or looking to study) or qualified (or a relevant degree in accounting) Excel/spreadsheet to an intermediate level. Experience of working to tight deadlines and adhering to clear process. Good analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Good team player with the ability to build strong relationships across the business. Organised, proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Desirable: Receptive to change and identify/drive process improvement. Seek progression in their career. Demonstrate the ability to explain finance to non-financial departments. An enthusiasm for the business and to make the workplace a good place to be.
