Salary: £85,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements: Senior experience as a Platform Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or similar role Strong background in cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred) Proven experience setting and enforcing technical standards and governance Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, security controls, and platform lifecycle management Experience working in regulated or high-assurance environments (healthcare, finance, public sector, etc.) Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders Experience with AI/ML governance or safe AI adoption Responsibilities: Act as a technical authority, setting the standards, guardrails, and governance for secure, resilient, and compliant software delivery Define and enforce DevSecOps standards, controls, and best practices Establish governance for CI/CD pipelines, IaC, dependency management, and patching Ensure engineering practices meet security, audit, and regulatory requirements Drive consistency, repeatability, and risk reduction across environments Set governance standards for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) Define deployment, environment, and lifecycle management policies Provide technical oversight and assurance beyond just implementation Review and improve existing platform designs and practices Technologies: AI ARM Azure CI/CD Cloud DevSecOps Security Terraform More: We are a highly regulated corporation seeking a Platform Engineer with deep governance and technical assurance experience.
