We are looking to recruit a Health Care Support Worker to join our Crisis and Home Treatment Resolution team. We are a well-established community mental health team.
The community mental health team works with people who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties, supporting them through their journey of recovery.
Role Overview
* The support worker is part of/compliment the multidisciplinary team in delivering interventions and support to promote recovery for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
* The role is varied, offering opportunities to develop therapeutic intervention skills under the supervision of experienced senior mental health practitioners.
* Full time or part-time hours are available.
* Support senior mental health practitioners in delivering responsive and effective care during assessment and treatment to a designated caseload of individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
* Work compassionately and non-judgementally with individuals in their own homes, in the community and in health settings.
* Accurately record contacts with individuals in clinical notes in a timely manner; support the senior practitioner with administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Expectations
* Enthusiastic about supporting people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties in a compassionate and holistic manner.
* Ability to speak Welsh desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers equally welcome.
