JOB TITLE: LECTURER - BRIDGE TO ENGAGEMENT
LOCATION: DOWNHAM MARKET
HOURS: AD HOC/ SESSIONAL/ HOURLY PAID
SALARY: £25.69-£32.40 PER HOUR (£30,529 - £38,500 FTE)
Due to increasing student numbers and investment into our inclusive learning provision, we are recruiting additional Lecturers to join our team at Downham Market to support our Bridge to Engagement learners.
Our Bridge to Engagement programme enables learners who may not be comfortable at a larger campus to access further education in a small, bespoke campus. Our group sizes are small, providing a highly supported environment that helps learners develop and progress to further study or employment.
Our curriculum team plays an integral role in equipping learners with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed. We are proud of the success of these programmes.
Designed to support young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, our Bridge to Engagement programmes require innovative and passionate teachers confident in managing challenging behaviour.
We have a small, dedicated team at our Downham Market site. We operate smaller class sizes with extended support, making this a rewarding role for teachers who want to make a difference in young people's outcomes, both during and after education.
We value work-life balance and actively support flexible working arrangements, including job sharing.
Salary notes: Your point on the salary scale will be determined based on experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments are generally not made above point 12 (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.
