An excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a high-quality Occupational Therapy service. Our service aims to help adults to continue to live at home. Your role will be to assess and manage a caseload of patients on an inpatient ward with varied and complex needs across West Berkshire.

Working Pattern and Service Overview
Core hours are 8am – 4pm. Weekend working is currently not required but may change in the future.
The role offers the opportunity to explore the Rainbow Room, which includes palliative beds, and a specialised neuro‑designated unit with eight beds. You may collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality care for patients with neurological conditions, gaining valuable experience in a focused and supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide supervision guidance to band 3 and 4 support workers in the therapy team.
* Make recommendations to the wider MDT and support education of students.
* Identify service developments, needs, contribute to planning, development and evaluation of the service and take responsibility for defined projects.
* Manage a complex caseload using an interdisciplinary, patient‑focused rehabilitative approach with support from senior therapists.
Qualifications
Registered Occupational Therapist with an interest in the rehabilitation of older adults, great organisational skills and an enjoyment of team working.
