Hours: 37 hours per week, term-time only (including 5 training days)
Salary: Level 4A, Point 11-15, £24,178.68 - £25,795.97 gross per annum (actual salary)
We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Officer – Maternity Cover to join our supportive and friendly team committed to working with teachers and support staff to develop how students manage their behaviour. You will work under the guidance of the Assistant Head (Pastoral & Inclusion) and Head of Year to deliver effective support to individuals and groups of students.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to enabling all pupils to achieve the very best they can.
Responsibilities
* Provide pastoral support to individuals and groups of students under the guidance of the Assistant Head (Pastoral & Inclusion) and Head of Year.
* Support behaviour-related issues and contribute to strategies that help students manage their behaviour and improve life opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Previous experience of working with students supporting behaviour-related issues.
* Highly motivated, understanding, and passionate about making a difference and ensuring pupil opportunities are enhanced.
* Commitment to enabling all pupils to achieve; ability to work with teachers and support staff as part of a team.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
