I'm working with a market-leading business to recruit a Financial Controller with strong Sales & Purchase Ledger experience. This is a hands-on role with added responsibility around reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily bank reconciliations (Excel-based)
* Processing customer receipts & supplier payments
* Managing sales & purchase ledger
* Matching transactions across systems
* Preparing customer/supplier statements
* Checking expenses & calculating commissions
* Supporting internal finance queries
* Ensuring VAT, payroll, pensions etc. are paid on time
* Supporting monthly & quarterly reporting
* Analysing P&L variances and profitability
What You'll Need
* Proven finance experience (ledger essential)
* Strong Excel skills (non-negotiable)
* High attention to detail & ability to meet deadlines
* Experience with ERP systems (preferred)
* Proactive, hands-on approach
