We have an exiting opportunity to join our team supporting people through their dementia journey. The Dementia Post Diagnostic Support service is a countywide community service. The aim of the service is to be the main point of contact for the person diagnosed and their carer during the entire dementia journey. We provide appropriate emotional support, practical help, guidance and information to meet the needs of those entering the service, as well as facilitating access to well-being interventions which promote independence and quality of life. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training will be given, but you will need to be patient, kind, and an excellent communicator with a desire to make a difference. Mileage is paid at 45p per business mile.
