About This Role
We are seeking a Science Technician to play a key role in enhancing the quality of science education and encouraging our students to realize their full potential. You will work with a highly professional team to provide efficient and effective support to colleagues and students. Experience would be preferred; however, training and support will be provided by the science team and Trust.

About You
Our students are diligent, respectful, and eager to learn. We seek a proactive, flexible individual with excellent communication skills across all platforms, who maintains high expectations for learning, achievement, and behavior. The candidate should contribute to school improvement, inspire students, and embody our ethos and values.
The role involves working 22.5 hours per week (days negotiable), 39 weeks per year, including one week of professional development for all staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare equipment, chemicals, and specimens for practical sessions and exams.
* Support staff with the safe use of equipment.
* Maintain laboratories, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organization.
* Assist with storage and stock control, adhering to health and safety policies.
* Report shortages or repairs needed for equipment to the Head of Department.
* Perform other duties as necessary.
