Job Title: Laboratory Technician – Boston

Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking an organised and reliable Science Laboratory Technician to support a secondary school in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in Science who enjoys working in a practical and supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will assist the Science department by preparing equipment and materials for lessons, ensuring laboratories are safe, organised, and fully equipped.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and set up equipment for Science lessons and experiments
* Maintain laboratory equipment and materials
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Support teachers during practical lessons where required
* Monitor and organise stock levels within the department
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A strong interest in Science or previous laboratory experience
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in a school or laboratory setting (desirable)
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
