Teach Now is recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools across Hertfordshire from November 2025 onwards. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking flexible term-time work, making a meaningful contribution to students’ education during one of the most important times of their school journey.
The role involves assisting with the smooth running of examinations, ensuring regulations are upheld, and creating an environment where every student has the best chance to succeed. Invigilators will be called upon during exam periods throughout the academic year, offering both immediate and ongoing opportunities.
The Role
• Supervising students during exams, ensuring strict adherence to exam board guidelines.
• Managing exam rooms to create a calm, fair, and supportive atmosphere.
• Assisting with the distribution and collection of exam materials.
• Providing vigilance and professionalism throughout the assessment process.
• Being available for short-term work during exam seasons, with the possibility of being called back for future sessions.
What We’re Looking For
• A responsible, reliable individual with excellent attention to detail.
• Calm, professional, and confident in managing groups of secondary-aged students.
• Previous school or exam invigilating experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Flexibility and commitment to being available during exam periods.
