A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to support its Energy South team on high-voltage and substation projects. This is a key role combining traditional environmental advisory responsibilities with a focus on managing and supporting environmental consents.

The successful Senior Environmental Advisor will:
* Provide advice on environmental compliance, sustainability, and risk across projects
* Manage or support construction-related consents, permits, and licenses (e.g., EA, ecology, LA approvals)
* Liaise with statutory bodies to ensure timely approvals and compliance with legal frameworks
* Support environmental assessments, audits, and incident response in line with ISO 14001
* Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the team
You will need:
* Experience in an environmental role within infrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities
* Familiarity with English permitting systems and DCO-related processes
* Confident working with regulators and multi-disciplinary project teams
* A degree or equivalent in an environmental or ecological discipline
* A full UK driving licence – this is a field-based role
