We are looking for a passionate and creative teacher who will work well within a team and help us provide exceptional educational provision for our pupils and families.
Shireland Biomedical UTC are the latest school to join the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, providing staff with opportunities to progress both within the school and across the Trust. Due to the expansion of the UTC, we require a suitably qualified MFL teacher to join our team in January 2024. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to deliver to Year 7 to Year 9 at a growing school, with the potential to shape your career as the UTC grows. Moving forward there will be opportunities to grow the department and offer languages at KS4 and Post 16. Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching to Year 7 to Year 9 and contribute to the development of a growing Languages department.
* Inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils; set high expectations for learning and behaviour.
* Collaborate effectively within the team and across the Trust to share best practices and drive school improvement.
* Lead initiatives and demonstrate impact with evidence of outcomes.
* Be proficient with the use of technology for learning and demonstrate willingness to innovate.
* Show willingness to lead initiatives and contribute to school-wide improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience teaching across the key stages. Applications from newly qualified teachers are welcome.
* A consistently good to outstanding teaching track record.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils; strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and learning.
* Proficiency in using technology for learning and a willingness to innovate.
