Working closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams, you’ll drive performance, reduce downtime, and help move the department from reactive to preventative maintenance. About the Role Title: Engineering Team Leader Role: Full time, permanent Location: Litherland, Liverpool Salary: up to £52K per annum Hours: Monday to Friday - day time shift schedule Benefits: 25 days holiday, pension, life insurance, free parking, plus more! Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day activities of the engineering team, allocating tasks and tracking performance using a CMMS. Support delivery of KPIs including OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance compliance. Collaborate with production to identify causes of downtime and implement lasting corrective actions. Contribute to continuous improvement, capital expenditure planning, and the rollout of preventative maintenance programs. Champion a safe, clean, and efficient working environment in line with health & safety standards. Requirements Key Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, with exposure to automated machinery and fault diagnostics. Electrically and mechanically trained. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Skilled in using and developing CMMS systems and understanding maintenance KPIs. Confident communicator who can lead a team and liaise with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
