At WorkLyf we are recruiting for a SMR Vehicle Service Co-Ordinator based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. (Hybrid work available) Purpose To ensure the effective delivery of customer service; with a specific focus on operational activities relating to the technical in-life support of vehicles/drivers who require maintenance/assistance whilst on road. To ensure that all KPIs/SLAs and statutory requirements are met in full at all times. Key Accountabilities To be the dedicated point of contact for service/maintenance booking enquires, including assisting with breakdown queries. To provide excellent support to drivers who may be in a distressing situation due to vehicle breakdown/maintenance. To follow business defined rulesets to achieve customer outcomes for their fleet. To develop relationships with stakeholders in order to resolve challenges for clients and drivers within agreed SLAs. To develop strong relationships with third party suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective route for all repairs. To update systems to create a maintenance history record. Provide vehicle off road reports and ensuring all vehicles are back on the road in a timely manner with as little additional cost to the client or the business. Expedite chasing of VOR where required. Liaising manufacturers customer service teams where applicable. Review of maintenance/service history to direct a drivers query where required. To assist the Technical Services team with the expansion and growth of services, including breakdown & our reallocation service. Key Experience Skills Customer Service experience in the automotive industry Experience in dealing with maintenance scheduling. Technical Knowledge (desirable) Attention to detail. Flexible attitude to providing solutions to problems. Able to work in a fast paced environment.
