Key Account Manager
– Leading Fitness and Wellness Provider
This is a rare opportunity to join a global fitness and wellness brand in a Key Account Manager role. My client is focused on innovation and design which enable their fitness and wellness products to enhance people's life experiences, whether at home, in club or beyond.
The main responsibility of the Key Account Manager is to identify and win new business within the health and fitness sector. You will hit or exceed revenue sales targets through excellent account management and new business development. Working to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and annual KPi's in addition to meeting the revenue targets is essential.
This role can require extended hours and travel, mainly within the UK and occasionally abroad, therefore commitment and flexibility is important.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales targets as agreed with the Key Account Director within agreed gross margin guidelines.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers and strategic partners to create sales opportunities.
Stay up to date on market conditions within the territory/sector, including the competition and in conjunction with the Head of Sales, develop and execute an annual sales strategy to maximise results and efficiency.
Working both individually and with the Sales Support team, ensure that daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities and pipeline forecasting are always accurate and up to date within the CRM system.
Compile sales and accurate forecast reports as required by the Key Account Director
Deliver product training both on use of products as well as the benefits of the products to the customer's staff at all sites on a regular basis.
Attend internal sales meetings as required and represent the business at trade shows and new products launches as required.
Attend all customer installations to whom you have sold product and support other Key Account installs when required.
Profile Experience:
Proven selling and presentation skills into health and wellness sectors.
Self motivated, KPI driven and a desire to succeed.
Efficient in time management and personal organisation skills.
Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral.
A good existing network in this territory and sectors with a strong knowledge and understanding of specific requirements to secure business.
Must think outside of the box, be innovative and solutions driven
A good team player willing to support and help to develop colleagues.
Proficient in MS Office, in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
